Rich Reizen and Ellen Chapelle, co-chairs of Gould & Ratner's Construction Practice, lead a panel of industry experts, which also included Michael Lubben (Global Risk Manager, CC Industries), Karen Layng (CEO, M.A.I.T.), Joel Gregoire (Senior Vice President, the Lockton Companies) at the Construction SuperConference on December 10, 2018. The presentation was entitled: "Mind the Coverage Gap: Insurance Specifications and Policy Terms That Can Trip You Up." The presentation took common construction issues and described how different variations in the insurance specifications and gaps created by poorly understood policy terms can leave parties with unexpected bills to pay and offered practical drafting tips and best practices.
