John Beery, Amy Blumenthal and Steve Gustafson spoke at a seminar entitled "How to Structure the Real Estate Deal in Illinois" on May 9, 2007 at the Holiday Inn Select in Naperville.  The program, sponsored by Lorman Education Services, focused on the due diligence process, forms of ownership, sources of equity capital and debt, purchase price allocation, preserving capital gains potential, and tax issues, including analyzing the economic and tax consequences of development participation.
