Gould & Ratner is pleased to announce that Linsey Cohen, chair of the firm’s Real Estate Practice, has been recognized as “Real Estate Lawyer of the Year” for 2020 by the Illinois Real Estate Journals.

Client and friend of the firm David Andalcio, CEO of Wynndalco, was recently named 2020 Hispanic Business Person of the Year by the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC). Each year, USHCC recognizes an entrepreneur because of their outstanding leadership, pioneering spirit and social and economic contributions. David will accept this honor, virtually, at the closing awards ceremony of the USHCC National Conference on September 29.

Gould & Ratner will sponsor Erie Family Health Centers Health Equity Impact Awards and Virtual Gala on September 17. The event will honor 2020 healthcare heroes and innovators.

Vanessa Tiradentes, a partner in Gould & Ratner’s Litigation Practice, was recently chosen to serve as Chair of the Judges Initiative Committee of the American Bar Association Business Law Section. Vanessa will begin her role in September, and will present a related panel at the ABA Business Law Section Annual Meeting on Sept. 22.

Gail Potysman Bley, Amy M. Blumenthal, Linsey N. Cohen and Jessica G. Lingertat were recognized as “Notable Women in Law” for 2020 by Crain’s Chicago Business.
