Gould & Ratner sponsored Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society’s 13th Annual Golf-Tennis Tournament on June 3 in Huntington, NY. The firm sponsored one of the holes for the longest drive competition and a golf foursome in benefit of the organization. Jessica Lingertat, Chair of Gould & Ratner’s Real Estate Practice, and David Michael, Chair of Gould & Ratner’s Litigation Practice, were recognized as two of Chicago’s “Notable Gen X Leaders in Law” for 2019 by Crain’s Chicago Business. The 121 lawyers featured represent the top practitioners born between 1964 and 1979 at Chicago law firms.

Fred Tannenbaum, a partner in Gould & Ratner’s Corporate Practice, presented to Northwestern University’s Innovation and New Ventures Office (INVO), a branch of the Kellogg School of Management, on “Fundamentals of Startup Financing.” Fred and his co-presenter, Benjamin Hernandez, CEO and Co-Founder of NuMat Technologies, provided insight to students, post doctorate candidates and faculty on how to attract and engage investors, stages and sources of funding and deal structures.

Gould & Ratner recently sponsored Erie Family Health Centers’ Luncheon. The annual event invites corporate, civic and healthcare industry leaders to honor those who have impacted the lives of Erie patients.
