Vanessa Tiradentes, an associate in Gould & Ratner’s Litigation Practice, was a featured panelist at the ABA Business Law Section Fall Meeting in Washington D.C. on November 17, 2017.

Sevan Avakian, an Associate at Gould & Ratner, coached a Loyola Moot Court Team to the National Championship in Washington D.C. The team from Loyola University Chicago School of Law won the championship at the Thomas Tang National Moot Court Competition for the first time in a decade.

Rich Reizen, co-chair of Gould & Ratner’s Construction Practice, will discuss the best practices for contractors and even landowners to avoid unexpected finds and to mitigate their risks in the event of uncovering something unexpected on a job site.

Construction Practice co-chair and partner Richard Reizen told Construction Dive last year that the public bidding process is supposed to be transparent.“The theory is that government contracting is fair if everybody has an equal chance.”
