Crain’s Chicago Business has recognized three Gould & Ratner partners as “Notable Women in Law” for 2024:  Managing Partners Linsey Cohen and Jessica Lingertat, and Litigation Practice Vice-Chair Vanessa Tiradentes.

Grocery Outlet (NASDAQ: GO) announced the acquisition of United Grocery Outlet, expanding the value retailer chain into multiple southeastern states.  The proposed deal adds over 40 locations to the expanding Grocery Outlet network, which will serve shoppers on both coasts.

Gould & Ratner is pleased to announce that Jessica Lingertat and David Michael have been selected by their fellow partners to serve a two-year term on the firm’s Management Committee as Managing Partners of the firm. David will be serving his first term on the four-member committee, while Jessica continues her service, having previously served for several years. The pair join Linsey Cohen and Brian Gilbert on the committee; each are currently in the middle of their two-year terms as Managing Partners of the firm.

The firm was ranked No. ­­­13 of all Midwest firms with commercial real estate practices, remaining the same from last year’s No. 13 placement. This ranking is reflective of the total number of deals valued at $1 million and above that Gould & Ratner completed in 2022.
