Fritz Kaegi set out to make the Cook County property-tax assessment process more accurate, transparent and fair. In a conversation with Crain's Senior Reporter Alby Gallun, Kaegi discussed the steps he has taken to accomplish those goals, the obstacles he has encountered and what lies ahead as his campaign for re-election gears up.
