Rich Reizen was named to JD Supra’s “Top Ten Construction Authors” list as part of the platform’s annual Readers’ Choice Awards. Rich was recognized as no.9 of a group of nearly 2,500 authors who wrote on construction-related matters in 2022. These awards recognize JD Supra contributors for the visibility and engagement their thought leadership earned among readers during the last 12 months.

Stephen Sandler, a partner in Gould & Ratner’s Real Estate Practice, was recognized as one of 40 real estate professionals to be inducted into Midwest Real Estate News’ (MREN) 2022 Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame.

Gould & Ratner is pleased to announce that Linsey Cohen and Brian Gilbert have been selected by their fellow partners to serve a two-year term on the firm’s Management Committee as Managing Partners of the firm. Linsey will be serving her first term on the four-member committee, while Brian continues his service, having previously served for several years. The pair join Jessica Lingertat and Paul Carroll, who are currently in the middle of their two-year terms as Managing Partners of the firm.

Amy Blumenthal, a partner in Gould & Ratner’s Real Estate Practice, will serve on CREW Chicago’s Distinguished and Notable Advisory Board (“DNA”) for a third term. This five member advisory board of nominated individuals has positively impacted the commercial real estate industry by advancing the power and success of women, and will give feedback and direction to the current CREW Chicago Board.

Gould & Ratner is pleased to announce that two attorneys have been selected as 2023 Illinois Super Lawyers. Each year, no more than five percent of Illinois lawyers receive this honor. In addition, three attorneys have been named Illinois Rising Stars, which awards lawyers who are under 40 and practicing fewer than 10 years. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state receive this honor each year.
