Companies rely on Dave to help them navigate environmental regulations, manage risk, and resolve complex disputes when regulatory issues intersect with litigation. By combining environmental compliance insight with courtroom experience, he helps clients address problems proactively and defend them effectively when disputes arise.

Dave serves as environmental, health, and safety counsel and trial lawyer for companies and professionals across a wide range of industries. He advises business leaders on compliance with federal and state environmental laws, including RCRA, CERCLA, the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, and OSHA regulations.

His litigation practice includes defending clients against enforcement actions brought by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, state environmental agencies, and OSHA, as well as representing clients in environmental and toxic tort matters in federal and state courts and before the Illinois Pollution Control Board. He also advises on environmental issues in corporate transactions, including regulatory due diligence, permitting, and site remediation efforts nationwide.

In addition, Dave represents clients in construction and employment-related disputes, including contract claims, job-site injury matters, and workplace claims involving wage and hour, discrimination, and harassment issues.

Beyond his practice, Dave is an active leader in the legal community through the American Bar Association and previously hosted the Litigation Radio podcast, where he shared insights on trial strategy and professional development.
