A member of the firm's Tax and Estate Planning and Wealth Transfer Practices, Tolsky provides strategic counsel on a wide range of estate planning and tax-focused matters, including advising individuals, families and businesses in complex wealth transfer strategies and business succession planning.

“We are delighted to have Jennifer join our partnership, she brings a wealth of experience to the firm and is a pleasure to work with on matters very personal and thus very important to our clients.” Said John Mays, a managing partner of the firm.

Tolsky is a certified public accountant who began her career at Gould & Ratner as a tax accountant, before becoming an associate. She also was a tax associate at RSM US LLP, where she prepared and reviewed tax returns for partnerships and individuals.

Tolsky's promotion to partner was recently featured in a National Law Review article. The feature discusses the natural segue between tax compliance and estate planning, and how Jennifer's prior career as a CPA has contributed to her success as a lawyer. Read the full article here.

Tolsky earned a J.D. from John Marshall Law School and a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
