CHICAGO – Gould & Ratner LLP is pleased to welcome Ilana Schwartz Bley, who has joined the firm as an associate in its Estate Planning and Family Office Administration Practice.

Bley, who earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, concentrates her practice on estate planning and taxation, advising owners of small and middle-market businesses, as well as their families.

While attending law school, Bley was a student clinician at the Loyola Business Law Clinic, assisting small business clients with legal concerns. She was president of Loyola University Chicago School of Law's Decalogue Society and served as a student articles editor of the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal. Bley also graduated law school with a Certificate in Tax Law.

Before attending law school, Bley worked in the health care and legal funding industries.

Bley earned her bachelor’s degree from Washington University.
